Playa de Veneguera, a lost place on Gran Canaria. You can reach this by car (preferable a 4 wheel drive) over an unpaved path with stones. By car it will take 15 minutes from the village to the beach and you will enjoy great views over the valley and you will pass all kind of fruit trees. Veneguera was many years ago a famous trade place for the export of tomatos and bananas. The goods were transported by ship from here to Las Palmas and Tenerife. Now it is one of the most quiet beaches of the island and visited by people who wants pure rest surrounded by sea and mountains. Don't go there after heavy rain, you have to drive trough the barranco, which will be full with stones and mud.
